Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule

More than 72 Hours Before Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Entire refund except for service charges

Processing Time: 5-7 business days

Service Charge: €50 for credit card transactions

Conditions: Must be submitted formally via email or phone call

24-72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Time: 7-10 business days

Service Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund amount

Conditions: A valid reason is required; administrative fees are incurred

Less than 24 Hours Before Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: There are no refunds accessible

Exception: Exceptional situations may be considered

Alternative: Credit for a future charter may be offered based on managerial discretion

Conditions: Proof is required for emergency situations

Weather-Related Cancellations

Our Weather Guarantee

Your safety is paramount. If the captain, who is certified, judges the weather conditions hazardous for the operation of charters, we provide adaptable choices:

  • Full Refund: Issued if rescheduling is not feasible
  • Reschedule: Alter the charter to an upcoming date at zero extra charge
  • Charter Credit: Issue a credit that is good for a year from your original charter date

Weather Assessment Process

Our weather assessment includes:

  • Evaluating wind velocity and direction
  • Considering wave height and condition of the sea
  • Forecasts of visibility and precipitation
  • Warnings and advisories from the Coast Guard
  • The captain's professional safety assessment

Decision Making: Choices regarding weather cancellations are confirmed not later than 4 hours before the planned departure.

Medical Emergency Refunds

Emergency Conditions

We acknowledge the possibility of sudden medical emergencies. The following are scenarios that may merit special accommodation:

  • Unexpected illness or injury necessitating hospital admission
  • Loss of a close family member
  • Military assignment or urgent recall
  • Duty as a juror or a legal directive
  • Travel-disrupting natural calamities

Documentation Standards

To consider emergency refunds, we request you provide:

  • Medical certification or paperwork from a hospital
  • Death notice, if applicable
  • Orders from the military
  • A court subpoena or notifice for jury duty
  • Travel advisories or declarations of emergency

Processing: Refunds due to emergencies are addressed within 3-5 business days after the correct paperwork is received.

Operational Cancellations

Technical Problems

If the vessel allocated to you encounters technical issues that remain unresolved:

  • Alternative Boat: An effort will be made to arrange a comparable replacement
  • Complete Refund: Granted if a suitable replacement isn't accessible
  • Reduced Refund: If the alternate vessel has differing rate
  • Additional Reimbursement: May be considered for the hassle

Crew Absence

In uncommon instances where qualified crew is not available:

  • A replacement crew will be sought when achievable
  • The entire amount will be refunded if the charter cannot proceed
  • Options to reschedule without extra charges

Refund Processing

Mode of Reimbursement

Refunds will revert to the same method of payment that was used to make the booking:

  • Credit Cards: 5-7 business days
  • Bank Transfers: 7-10 business days
  • Cash/Cheque: 3-5 business days

€50 charge for cancellations requested over 72 hours ahead

Bank Transfer Transactions

€25 will be charged for all bank transfer reimbursements

Extra costs may be applicable for transactions across borders

Charter Credits

Situations for Credit Issuance

Under certain circumstances, charter credits might be proposed as an alternative to cash refunds:

  • Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the charter)
  • Cancellations due to weather
  • Requests to willingly reschedule
  • Delays in operation

Terms for Credit

  • Validity: Active for one year post-issuance
  • Transferability: Cannot be transferred to others
  • Value: Covers the complete value of the charter (exempt of fees)
  • Utilization: Applicable to any forthcoming charter
  • Expiration: No extension past the 12-month period

Partial Service Reimbursements

Disruptions During Service

If your charter is disrupted or shortened due to reasons we control:

  • A refund proportionate to the non-utilized duration
  • A voucher for a future charter of equal value
  • Complimentary services or upgrades as compensation

Disruptions Caused by Guests

If a charter ends prematurely because of guest conduct or breaches of safety:

  • No reimbursement for the time not used
  • The full payment is still expected
  • Potential additional costs may apply

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement with a refund determination, you may:

  • Call for a review by our leadership team
  • Present extra paperwork or proof
  • Search for a solution via consumer advocacy groups
  • Engage in legal processes as permitted by the law
